Acupuncture Insurance Information

We gladly accept all types of medical insurance and worker's comp cases. Traditional Chinese medicine is an excellent adjunct to western medical treatment, and many insurance companies provide coverage for acupuncture. Often, medical conditions that are difficult to treat with western medicine can be easily resolved with traditional Chinese medicine. If you have medical insurance and want to check your insurance coverage for acupuncture, please call our office at (916) 244-9363. 

To verify insurance acupuncture benefits, we will need your name and address, date of birth, insurance company, policy I.D. number, and group number. If you have a worker's comp claim, please provide your claim number along with your adjuster's name and phone number.

Please note that since facial acupuncture is considered cosmetic, it cannot be covered by insurance. 

Effective January 1, 2016, this office no longer accepts Kaiser, Healthnet, or Landmark/Western Health Advantage. If your insurance has out-of-network benefits, we can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
